NORWEGIAN CRYSTALS STARTS COMMERCIAL PRODUCTION IN GLOMFJORD, NORWAY

7. October, 2013 – Norwegian Crystals has started commercial production of high-performance monocrystalline ingots and blocks in the company┬┤s facility in Glomfjord, Norway. “This marks an important milestone for our company. We probably have a lot to learn, but we are eager to start demonstrating our potential to become the best mono ingot producer in the world”, says Reidar Langmo, CEO in Norwegian Crystals. Norwegian Crystals operates 50 czochralski furnaces in Glomfjord and has a total capacity of 200 MW. The first products from Norwegian Crystals will be shipped to a highly reputable customer in Japan.
